This is a great photo. Really captures the "soldier." I love their reflection in the puddle, too. Very nice.

Somehow everyone forgets them, and only care about US soldiers but iraqis deserves the same attention too

I agree, they deserve more attention than us. It's their country and they are doing a good job of stepping up and trying to take control. Yeah they usually wear some kind of armor, although there doesn't seem to be a standard for that yet.

Also, that means they risking a lot more! They don't even have kneepads or other stuff
Also, does your unit also wears the traditional kevlar armour?

Yeah, they are definatly risking more than us, I agree. The equipment they have seems to vary from individual to individual, but they usually atleast have some basic armor. I'm not a 100% sure what our armor is made out of.
